This municipal monument in the middle of the ring of canals in Amsterdam was designed by Emanuel Marcus Rood, which can be deduced from the foundation drawings and the natural stone parapet in the facade at the entrance door.
Midvast has renovated this building and realized three special, luxurious and tasteful apartments which all have a beautiful view over the Oudezijds Voorburgwal and the canal. In the stairwell is still the original staircase.
