Midvast has acquired the site of the former Tetterode stone quarry on the Van der Madeweg 18 in Amsterdam Ouder Amstel, just over the ring A10.
A businesscontruction from approximately 9.200 m² BVO will be developed for a creative industry according to a design of Architect Dam & Partners. Since the site is relatively narrow and deep, workstations are grouped around several patios in the building. Therefore do all the working spaces have contacts with the outside and enough daylight.
The new contruction consists of three floors and a underground parkinggarage that serves 63 parking spots. There will be several different roofgardens and a roofterrace on the waterside.
The building will be build in a sustainable way. Meaning that it does not contain gass, is provided wamrth and cold through the WKO-installation system.
The contruction will start to be build in medio 2022 and it is planned to finalise it in medio 2024.
